Here we go again - 2011 !




Ok, so most people who will see this blog will know that I broke my leg pretty bad about 4 months ago. An almost total lack of excercise during this period, combined with a slack winter time before that and a merry festive season since has led me down an all to familiar path....Chubby Craig!




Time to get rid of it. So, it is back to daily posts for at least the rest of January to make sure I keep myself on track and the momentum picking up pace. I am still not able to run and will be unlikely to do so for months to come so this time round will be challenging in other ways as my usual calarie burner is running. On the positive side, hopefully this will force me into my swimming which must be my weakest type of exercise by far.

I have also started recording my diet, I usually do this to start with just to make sure I'm not cheating anywhere and also to be sure I am getting my 5-6 six meals a day.

Goal for this time round is pretty typical, get back down to 76kg (currently 91kg !) and try to make the Caloundra 10k run if my leg is up to it.
I do have one added twist, a work colleague has challenged me to match him doing a set of excercises by the end of April 2011, here is the set:
10 x vertical sit ups (I don't even know what these are !)
50 slow pushups
10 x pull ups, palms facing out
2 mins x sit with back against wall (bum off ground)
2km swim in 1 hour (that sounds easy....?)
